How the program works
Investors in the program first sign an Investment Advisory Agreement with SecondPhase Capital, LLC authorizing us to place all trades in your account, as well as to automatically withdraw fees as applicable. Once the agreement is finalized we are able to function solely as the authorized advisor on the account managing it for the investors while they maintain ultimate control over their own account with Interactive Brokers. Separate account documents are then filled out and executed online with Interactive Brokers, after which the account is ready to be funded.
Once all account documentation is completed and funds have been deposited, the account is then ready to begin live trading. Standard fees and commissions for accounts will be charged by the hosting broker, and such fees and commissions are separate from the management fee charged by SecondPhase Capital, LLC. All trades are placed by SecondPhase Capital, LLC portfolio managers and trading personnel (the “portfolio managers”), as authorized by the Investment Advisory Agreement. The Managed Account Program decision-making process is driven by Second Phase Technologies.
